MegAltec system is an equipment of easy use, controlled by a computer, able to shape every tridimensional item from material such as extruded and expanded polystyrene, polyethylene abd polypropylene foams.
The fast and precise cut is effected by a hot wire moving on a X – Y level, lead by a high precision micro-stepping motors controlled by a computer.
This cut allows to shape everything on condition that it has the same thickness of the utilized material. By drawing and cutting different sight of one item it is also possible to build tridimensional extremely complex articles. Moreover, thanks to its turntable plate, our system is able to cut any spherical solid.
The material cut by MegAltec can be treated by hardening resins and then finished by water paints, guaranteeing outside an over 5 years long-lasting.
