Altec Italia srl - The Company

Altec Italia srl was founded in May 1986 by a team of entrepreneurs aware of being able to satisfy the market needs by importing and distributing on national area a French system, called DES, for the electronic treatment of the calcareous waters.

The constant attention to the industrial needs made it possible for Altec Italia to begin a new activity to support DES systems, their own production of cordwound filtering cartridges in such a high quality up to satisfy all requests of various industrial sectors and, above all, the photographic one.

At the beginning of 1993, Altec Italia set right a new technical production of filters, so-called sintherizing. It’s the only Italian firm which utilises such a technology which matches the unanimous agreement of photographic and other markets, so these filters are exported all over the world, in direct co-operation with the main minilab manufacturer companies.

The constant presence on the photographic market enabled Altec Italia to add to its range of products the photopackaging envelopes. An agreement of exclusive rights of distribution in Italy was signed in 1997 with the Austrian company EnveGroup GmbH, this way Altec Italia became in few years the first supplier of the Italian market and could count the main groups among their customers.

The company dynamism and the sensitiveness towards the market changes enabled them to enrich the range of products and to launch on the visual communication sector a 3D foam cut system imported from Poland and distributed with exclusive rights on the Italian and Swiss market. The reference sectors of this new product are: building, packaging, stage-designing, interior design, stands setting up, signs, etc.
